Stiverne, 35, has knocked out mostly limited competition early, having gone 10 and 12 rounds once each but has shown good stamina. The Hatian slugger from Miami, FL is a short-armed 6’2″ powerfully built fighting in the 240-250 Lb range. Stiverne has above-average hand-speed for his size and throws punches in bunches with bad intentions. Stiverne feints, jabs and moves his head well for his relative lack of experience. Stiverne, like most bombers, can also be rocked but his chin has proven to be solid.

Arreola has average hand-speed and defense but he puts together well-placed combinations to the head and body, especially with the left-hook. Arreola has a good chin but his defense is limited to covering up without much head movement.
