March Madness Picks Analysis: Florida has been the favorite since the beginning despite a slow start and grades out as the most powerful team on the power rankings. Florida (1) draws a first round match-up with the UCLA Bruins (4) as 5-point favorites. Louisville (4) draws a tough first round match-up with Kentucky (8) in a game between legendary coaches Rick Pitino and John Calipari with Lou at -4.5. Tom Izzo’s Michigan State Spartans (4) are -2 favorites over top seed Virginia (1) and appear to have all the ingredients to win a title. Iowa State (3) has been a model of consistency, making their sixth straight Sweet Sixteen appearance as they take on baller Shabazz Napier and Connecticut (7) as -1 point favorites. Despite being a lower-seed Tennessee (11) is only slight +1.5 point underdogs against Michigan (2). Wisconsin (2) is listed as -3 point favorites to take out Baylor (6) who is coming off a 32-point blowout win over Creighton.
