NFL Week 5 kicks off with Thursday Night Football and the Green Bay Packers hosting Minnesota with Green Bay as -10 point double digit favorites. Our Week 5 Expert NFL Predictions panel likes the Vikings as underdogs to cover the fat line with Green Bay looking vulnerable. At the top of Sunday’s football betting odds bill is Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts hosting hard-hitting division rival Baltimore. Our ESPN2 News panel likes Baltimore (+3.5) and their defense to stuff the Colts big offensive gun barrel with their no-name defense. Chicago (+2.5) and their heavy offensive weaponry should be able to dice up Carolina’s tough defense on their home turf. The Giants (-4.5) appear to be in good form and should take care of business at home against a Falcons team light on defense. Make money wagering on the NFL Betting Odds at SPORTS BETTING ONLINE
Week 5 Expert NFL Predictions Analysis: Despite their makeshift offensive line the Philadelphia Eagles (-7) should manhandle an overachieving Rams team at home with their speed of light offense. In a Longhorn State battle we like the Houston Texans (+6) to use WR Andre Johnson to dismantle the Dallas Cowboys defense in the house that Jerry built. In an important divisional game New Orleans (-10) will tighten some bolts to their defense and blow away a punch-less Tampa Bay team at home. Detroit (-7.5) and their skill players will outduel a Buffalo team led by an inconsistent QB E.J. Manuel. Denver (-7.5) will be given a scrap at home by undefeated Arizona but will pull away late with their offensive bursts. Pittsburgh (-7) and Dick Lebeau’s defense should be able to befuddle Jacksonville rookie QB Blake Bortles in his first start at home.
A still talented San Francisco (-6) team will get the best of an overachieving Chiefs squad at home with 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh on the hot seat. The New York Jets (+6.5) will give San Diego a challenge on the road with their smash mouth style of play. New England (+2.5) will quiet critics with Tom Brady outclassing Bengals QB Andy Dalton at home in a close game on Sunday Night Football. Monday Night Football will feature a fresh Seattle (-7.5) team of a bye week against a Washington team led by backup QB Kirk Cousins. Seattle should smash the Redskins in front of their faithful homers with RB Marshawn “Beast Mode” Lynch the bell cow of destruction.
