Derrieck Cuevas vs Jesus Beltran Fight Odds: The Heavyweight Factory returns Friday, July 12th with a highly anticipated main event between welterweight prospects Derrieck Cuevas vs Jesus Beltran. Strengths: “Pretty Boy” is strong and stocky at 5’9″ with sound power and a good pair of whiskers. Aggressive and bullish inside with good punch volume and placement. Sweeping left-hook is an effective weapon. He knows how to fight cleverly out of the Philly shell. Varies punch speed and rhythm. Well-conditioned. Above-average athleticism. Fights with the confidence of an unbeaten fighter.

Weaknesses: Young and still developing. Mostly stays in range vulnerable to punishment. Decent hand-speed but no burner. Gives few angles. Needs to be tested against better competition before fighting for a major belt.
